Stonewall Recovery is located in Calgary (Mohkinstsis) and in the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work, and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation of Alberta, and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. Stonewall Recovery also serves people from coast to coast and respectfully acknowledges that much of the land is unceded and that many nations have been completely wiped out due to genocide through colonization. We ask that you honour all the peoples of Turtle Island by learning the history of your territory and know that the space you call home was not discovered but was already inhabited by many great nations who protected and stewarded this land.
